Stacy went to York University for Fine Art and dabbled in many different mediums. Intrigued by movement and the female form, Stacy brings each figure to life in both illustrations and paintings. Her illustrations focus on the use of graphic bold lines, negative space, and mark making as a process. While her paintings are awash with bright neon colours, heavy spray paint and laden in texture. Each shaping her painted ladies uniquely and confidently.
She draws inspiration from artists such as Sue Francis, Christina Mrozik, Martine Johanna, Sarah Delaney and Kristen Jackson. But also finds inspiration within nature; Stacy is currently working on her next series of work that focuses on the animal as subject matter.
She resides in Mississauga, ON.
