Etsy Market During Summer Wednesdays at Evergreen Brick Works

Soak up the sun at Summer Wednesdays!

Relax under the Pavilions or bask in the setting sun in the Children’s Garden. Sit back with an ice cold drink, grab a bite of delicious summer fare and make the most of those warm summer evenings. The hottest place to spend Wednesday nights is at Evergreen Brick Works’ Summer Wednesdays, presented by Tricon.

For dinner, enjoy gourmet selections from street food trucks or platters of seasonal food and hand-baked bread from our wood-fired oven.

Plus, join us for the Live Music Series, presented by Muskoka Brewery, on select dates, where you can enjoy music from local bands, or drop by to shop from makers at the Etsy Market three nights throughout the summer!

Forno Cultura takes over the outdoor oven once again on August 22 to serve up deliciously fired meat and vegetarian dishes for everyone to enjoy. Serving in the Children’s Garden until 8:30pm.

In the Pavilions we’ll be hosting a selection of food trucks:

  • M.E.N.U Food Truck
  • The Arepa Republic
  • Busters Sea Cove
  • Fully Loaded T.O.

Food trucks and the Sipping Container will be open 5:30–10pm. We will also have Yoga on the Terrace at 6pm. Plus, drop by Ripple Farms to learn about aquaponics and tour their farm container!

Dundas West Fest

Creative, participatory, local, and inclusive. Dundas West Fest is Toronto’s opening to the summer festival season. Join us on June 1st and 2nd, 2018!

We are an annual celebration of music, arts, and community along Dundas Street West from Ossington Street to Landsdowne Avenue, covering 12 city blocks in Toronto. We bring the neighbourhood together and draw visitors to the area to explore shops, food, and rich cultural diversity.

Stroll along an old Toronto street that may just be at the most vibrant moment in its history. Dundas West Fest is perhaps the city’s coolest neighbourhood festival and a unique cultural experience, with two major stages produced by two of the city’s most prominent independent music presenters and a total of five music performance areas, free music and music lessons, poetry readings, yoga classes, and visual art exhibits are all part of the Dundas West mix. It all starts after work on Friday, June 1st, with our night market experience of patios galore, vendors, and lots of music. Saturday all day on June 2nd is for everyone, young and old and from all walks of life, with food, games, vendors, arts, music, dance and fanfare all the way until just before midnight.

Local businesses participate in the festival, with over 40 licensed patios and more than 200 unique local vendors. Last year’s estimated attendance was approximately 80,000+ people, and this year is looking even more fun and lively. Since our humble start, the festival has been growing yearly and we have built a reputation as a culturally rich festival that celebrates local talent while showcasing cutting-edge international artistic projects. There is a fresh hip vibe along the street with many young artists and entrepreneurs jostling and interacting with the old guard in lively and curious ways.

Come down to Dundas West Fest, everyone is welcome!
