Pigeons have been bred, trained and forgotten. Left to survive in concrete jungles, at our feet, when they once carried letters to loved ones. Despite it all, they have continued to find a mate. Cuddled against the wind, and the odds. This is an ode to the pigeon, and a memento for the lover.
